Westin TwinTeez Pelagic V-Tail

The TwinTeez for Pelagic Fishing

The Westin TwinTeez Pelagic V-Tail is a shad developed specifically for pelagic fishing, based on the classic TwinTeez design. Available in various lengths and weights, it gives you a dedicated tool for targeting open-water predators. Compared to the standard TwinTeez, this version features a slightly revised body design for improved flexibility and a particularly enticing action. To optimise both action and hook-up rate, Westin gave the TwinTeez Pelagic its own distinct shape. The 2 pairs of fins on the underside give the lure a more realistic silhouette and respond to even the slightest movement with a seductive flutter. The rear section of the body is segmented into 2 parts, which - combined with the large V-tail - produces even more action. At the same time, the segmented body makes it easier for zander to fold the lure, which improves the hook-up rate.

How to Fish It

Light twitches and subtle shakes have proved particularly effective. When pelagic fishing, less is often more - a restrained retrieve is usually enough to trigger an attack. The TwinTeez Pelagic fishes well on a standard jig head, but works even better on dedicated pelagic heads rigged with a stinger. You'll also find it ready-rigged in our shop as the Westin TwinTeez Pelagic R'N'R.
