I bought The Westin to fish for pike walleye and occasionally perch on the Rhine and that's exactly what this fishing rod is perfect for has a great action and you really notice every basic contact right away and with the first 70 pike she worked really well and you have heard every movement of the fish the fishing rod impressed me so much that I buy the second one right away

I picked up the rod for my son (8). It is nice and tight, fits well in the hand and has a nice short handle (relevant for us in this case). Quality is typically high at Westin. And shipping/packaging, as always, for pike and perch, fast and good.
