Westin W8 Powerstrike-T 2nd

Lightweight yet Powerful Pike Baitcasting Rods

The Westin W8 Powerstrike-T 2nd are the baitcasting versions of the Powerstrike series, built on the same Torayca T1100GC blank with M40JB carbon fibre as the rest of the W8 range. The result is a combination of low weight and serious strength that gives you enormous power reserves when you need to turn and hold the biggest pike. These are baitcasting rods built for every situation.

Versatile in Every Respect

The Westin W8 Powerstrike-T 2nd are exceptionally versatile rods that handle every lure type you'd want for pike fishing - hard lures, larger soft plastics, hybrid lures or spinnerbaits. They work equally well from the bank and from the boat. From the bank you get excellent casting distances, and from the boat you have the option of both casting and trolling. Both techniques work superbly with these rods, making them a strong choice for any pike angler.

Premium Components Throughout

Alongside the outstanding blank, the Westin W8 Powerstrike-T 2nd come fitted with high-quality components. The tangle-free Fuji SiC guides are excellent for use with braid, and the Fuji T2C Carbon reel seat gives your baitcaster a secure, reliable hold. Westin recommends pairing these rods with a Westin baitcaster in size 200 or 300 for a dependable, well-matched setup. The Seaguide Arc Hook 2.5 hook keeper on the blank adds further practical value by holding your mounted lure safely in place.

Serial Number and Premium Rod Bag Included

Each Westin W8 Powerstrike-T 2nd carries its own individual serial number, giving every rod its own identity. Included in the delivery is a premium neoprene rod bag that keeps the rod protected from scratches and other damage. The whole package arrives in a distinctive triangular cardboard box.
