Z-Man ChatterBait Micro 3.5 g (1/8 oz)

Z-Man is a US manufacturer with more than 30 years of experience, and that depth of knowledge shows in every product they make. ChatterBaits have earned a devoted following well beyond the States - and once you look closely at the functional details, it becomes clear why.

The Z-Man ChatterBait Micro 3.5 g Up Close

This ChatterBait measures approximately 6.3 cm and weighs around 6 g in total. The 3.5 g refers to the jig head itself. The hook is roughly size 3/0, which gives you plenty of room for a soft lure trailer in the 8-10 cm range. All hooks are ultra-sharp and long-lasting. As trailers, we recommend the Finesse Filet in 7 cm or the Köfi Ukelei in 11 cm - both flutter beautifully behind the chatterbait.

How a ChatterBait Works

Don't be fooled by the size of this lure - it gets overlooked far too often. This metal lure produces just as much action as larger lures and, in many cases, generates stronger pressure waves than bigger lures. The blade at the front vibrates at an extremely high frequency ahead of the rest of the body, creating the chatterbait's distinctive pressure-wave signature and its characteristic light-reflecting flicker.

What Makes Z-Man ChatterBaits Special

The blade design on these lures is patented under the name ChatterBlade® - something that sets them apart from any imitation. The skirt comes pre-rigged and can be swapped out at any time to suit your own preferences.
