Z-Man ChatterBait Mini Max

A Secret Weapon for Perch & Co.

The Z-Man ChatterBait Mini Max is a chatterbait available in various weights, specifically designed with perch as the primary target. That said, sizeable chub and the occasional pike are more than happy to grab one too. With that in mind, the size 2/0 hook has been built extra strong to handle bigger by-catch without any issues. The blade is arguably the standout feature here - scaled down to match the smaller profile preferred by perch, yet still producing enough vibration to draw predators in from a distance. The fine silicone skirt adds extra attraction and bulk, pulsing enticingly through the water. To prevent pike teeth from cutting through the skirt, it is secured with a wire - so even the sharpest set of teeth won't do any damage. On its own, the ChatterBait Mini Max is already a solid lure, but pair it with the right trailer and it becomes a genuine secret weapon. Soft plastics between 7 and 10 cm have proven particularly effective - paddle tails, curly tail grubs, pin tails and V-tails all work well, so there is plenty of room to experiment.

Please note: The actual total weight of the lure including skirt, hook, blade and head is approximately 2 g more than stated.
