A Super-Elastic Frog for the Surface and Below

The Z-Man GOAT ToadZ is a 10 cm soft plastic frog made from ElaZtech - a material that is super-elastic, tear-resistant, exceptionally soft and highly buoyant. The elasticity and tear resistance make it extraordinarily durable, while the softness enhances its action and the buoyancy turns it into a serious weapon around aquatic vegetation when targeting pike and largemouth bass. Rigged on an offset hook, it floats reliably and can be worked across the surface through cover as well as over open water. You can retrieve it slowly, with sharp twitches or at a faster pace - all approaches work well. At speed, the two rear legs with their paddle tail-shaped feet kick up a proper commotion and leave a bubble trail on the surface, drawing predators up for aggressive strikes. The Z-Man GOAT ToadZ is a capable surface lure, but it also performs below the surface - use a weighted offset hook or a Cheburashka rig to get it down. It also works well on a Texas rig. Another popular option, especially in the USA, is to run it as a trailer on buzzbaits. However you choose to fish it, it delivers, and on the surface you get the added bonus of spectacular takes.
