Frequently asked questions
Extra fast action means that only the very tip of the rod bends under load. The rest of the blank remains extremely stiff.
It is ideal for jigging and working soft lures with a slow, methodical retrieve, for twitching plugs, and for finesse rigs.
You get lightning-fast bite transmission, maximum lure control and a very direct strike even at long range.
The stiff blank absorbs head shakes less effectively at close range, which can lead to hook pulls when targeting fish with soft mouths.
They work particularly well for hard-mouthed predators such as zander and large perch.
