The Jackall Vividus is a 14.5 cm, 51 g soft swimbait that stands apart from the usual lures on the market in several respects. A Floating Soft Swimbait You Can Fish Deep

Unlike most soft swimbaits, the Jackall Vividus is not sinking - it is buoyant. The material used makes it extremely soft and flexible, and because it floats, it allows for an exceptionally shallow presentation. Even in tricky spots such as weed beds, along structure or around deadwood, you can present the Vividus with great precision and draw the next specimen out from cover. When you need to fish a level deeper, the lure comes supplied with dedicated tungsten inserts that you place in the belly area. A Distinctive Jerky Wobbling Action

The Jackall Vividus has neither a classic paddle tail nor a hyper-realistic flat tail. Instead, viewed from above, the tail is slightly club-shaped, widening towards the tip. This gives the lure a jerky wobbling action that runs through the entire body without arousing suspicion. Thanks to the soft material, it kicks in even at slow retrieve speeds, so you can work the Vividus provocatively slowly past any holding spot.

Hook Below or on the Side

The Jackall Vividus comes fitted with an ultra-sharp size #2 treble hook. This hook is attached to the eye via a swivel and two split rings, which offers several advantages. First, it pulls free of the lure on the take, protecting it from damage. The swivel allows the hook to rotate, making it considerably harder for a hooked fish to lever it free - meaning fewer lost fish. There is also an additional option linked to how the hook is mounted: because the Vividus has a second eye on the gill cover, you can reposition the hook there. This is particularly useful in snag-heavy water, as the lure can be dragged over obstacles without a belly-mounted treble hook collecting weed or snagging in deadwood.
