Abu Garcia Beast X2 Trolling (Casting)

Built for Trolling Big Pike

The Abu Garcia Beast X2 Trolling (Casting) are the dedicated baitcasting rods for trolling pike from the Beast X2 Series. If big pike are your quarry, these rods will suit you well. They feature fast action blanks with a very strong backbone combined with a slightly softer tip - the ideal combination for pulling XXL trolling lures. Planer board work is equally well catered for. The powerful backbone lets you run the largest trolling lures and delivers the authority to drive the hook home even into the biggest pike. Time to chase a new personal best with an Abu Garcia Beast X2 Trolling (Casting).

A Grip Design Optimised for Trolling

The Abu Garcia Beast X2 Trolling (Casting) is built around a Fast Taper 30T Carbon Blank and fitted with Seaguide Stainless Steel XOG Anti-Tangle rings. Particular attention has been paid to the grip design. The ergonomic reel seat sits within a handle section featuring an Easy Fit Rod Holder Design that fits standard rod holders perfectly, while the tough EVA material handles heavy use without damage. The rear grip has been kept shorter, which works in your favour when space in the boat is at a premium. The hook keeper is also sized for XXL lures and holds even the largest hooks securely. Every detail has been thought through to deliver a capable pike trolling rod.
