Baby Face JB

A Jerkbait with Japanese Precision

The JB is the jerkbait from Baby Face. The Japanese lure maker has applied their unique body design to this proven lure type, producing a jerkbait that is both aggressive and reliable. That combination of aggression and Japanese precision makes it something genuinely special. The idea was to take an already effective predator lure and refine it with Japanese know-how. Designed in Asia and built in Europe, the Baby Face team has managed to bring the best of both continents together in a single hard lure.

Technically Refined and Versatile in the Retrieve

The JB carries a great deal of Japanese DNA, and you can feel it in how technically developed this jerkbait is. Its unique lipless profile delivers exceptional casting distances, so you can reach predators holding at far-out spots with ease. The design also gives the JB a distinctly horizontal sink - and it is precisely during that falling phase that many predators commit, sending your adrenaline through the roof. The weight distribution is engineered to keep the centre of gravity low, which produces a very tight, flat action during the jerk. But even on a straight, steady retrieve the JB moves in a way that drives predators wild. You can confidently say this lure is versatile in its presentation, letting you adapt quickly to whatever the water demands. The acoustic trigger comes from two steel balls inside the body that, combined with the ABS construction, generate a distinctive sound - something Baby Face aptly calls the Dual-Knocker Sound. Rounding out this technically accomplished hard lure is an internal wire frame running through the robust ABS body, giving you the confidence to land even the biggest predators without worry. Fitted with two razor-sharp treble hooks of Japanese quality, the Baby Face JB is a lure every jerkbait fan - or anyone about to become one - should have on their radar.
