Berkley PowerBait Slobberknocker

A Bladed Jig with Direct Head-to-Blade Connection

The Berkley PowerBait Slobberknocker is an innovative take on the bladed jig - known in many circles as a chatterbait. What sets it apart from conventional designs is how the blade attaches to the head. On a standard bladed jig, a wire loop creates a small gap between blade and head. On the Slobberknocker, that gap is gone entirely: the blade runs directly through a slot in the head. This direct head-to-blade connection produces a knocking and clattering action that conventional bladed jigs simply don't deliver, layered on top of the intense vibration this lure type is known for. The result is an irresistible combination of stimuli that draws predators into aggressive strikes.

Exceptional Tracking Through Cover

The same direct connection that generates that distinctive sound also makes the Berkley PowerBait Slobberknocker exceptionally stable in the water. That stability makes it ideal for fishing through cover such as weed beds and fallen timber, where it pushes through and keeps sending out that relentless mix of knocking and vibration to pull predators out from hiding. Premium components throughout mean it's built to handle that kind of punishment. Robust construction from blade to the ultra-sharp Fusion19 hook gives you the backbone for hard-fighting fish - even when something substantial takes hold.

Coordinated Colour Design and PowerBait Scent

The Berkley PowerBait Slobberknocker is just as well thought out visually. The colour scheme runs across every component - blade, head, and skirt - for a cohesive, well-matched look throughout. The skirt also brings an additional trigger into play: scent and taste. Because it uses a PowerBait Flavour silicone skirt, hand-tied for quality and consistency, it releases scent as an extra key trigger. The proven PowerBait scent formula doesn't just produce more bites - it keeps predators holding the lure longer, giving you more time to strike and ultimately more fish to the net.
