Braid with Nano Coating

Braid has become an essential part of lure fishing, and the Berkley Sick Braid stands out with an 8-strand PE braid construction and a nano coating of microcrystalline polymer. That coating makes the line highly abrasion-resistant, while the smooth surface delivers excellent casting performance. Like all PE braids, it has virtually no stretch, which makes bite detection outstanding - particularly when fishing soft lures on a jig head. The high knot strength also means you can pull free from snags and land big fish with confidence. The Berkley Sick Braid is designed specifically for predator fishing, targeting pike, zander, perch and trout.

Sick Braid | 150 m Flame Green / 5.4 kg / 0.06 mm

I also bought the Sick Braid in 0.12mm and fished both for a while. 1 star deduction because the surface rises a bit in some places, but only when there is no tension, it also stains off. If it wasn't for these two problems, it would be a bombastic string. Super quiet, great transmission and great throwing characteristics.

Sick Braid | 150 m Red / 7.5 kg / 0.10 mm

Great lace-up, flies far. There is no sound in the rings. I've been happy with it since 2 fishing

Sick Braid | 150 m Flame Green / 11.2 kg / 0.12 mm

Very supple cord with high load capacity. Paint remains largely stable. Unfortunately, the string is frayed in some areas (right in the middle). Hangers broke the cord at this point. I fished with a baitcaster.

Sick Braid | 150 m Red / 5.4 kg / 0.06 mm

Great string with great features After much consideration, I opted for the Sick Braid 8 and was not disappointed. The string has great properties and is great to handle, just try it out I will order again.
