Introduce a sharp snap of the rod into the slack line and it kicks violently to the side, darting away with real energy - active rod work is what truly brings this bait to life. Because this compact jerkbait pairs naturally with medium spinning rods, Berkley has incorporated a weight transfer system that shifts part of the weight rearward during the cast, resulting in longer, more accurate casts. Once the bait is in the water, the same system produces a loud rattle - an effective side effect that adds extra attraction on the retrieve.
