Sportex Black Pearl MAXX (Casting)

The Legendary Black Pearl Series in Its MAXX Casting Version

The Sportex Black Pearl MAXX (Casting) rods are the baitcasting rods within this long-established series. The MAXX range brings together a wide selection of light, fast rods covering almost every aspect of lure fishing - from dedicated specialist tools to versatile all-rounders. The fast action blank is built from durable, Japanese high-performance carbon, combining sensitive bite detection with a stiff backbone. That combination gives you power during the fight, reliable hook-setting performance, and the ability to cast both far and accurately.

Quality Components at a Solid Price-to-Performance Ratio

The Sportex Black Pearl MAXX (Casting) is fitted with lightweight, durable SiC rings, each sized to match the specific blank and taper. A Seaguide D-Hook keeper is mounted on the blank above the grip - a feature also found on other Sportex rod series. Its sturdy construction and large opening means virtually any hook size can be clipped in securely, and it's positioned so it doesn't interfere when you rest a finger on the blank during fishing. The grip section pairs a robust EVA split Duplon handle with an ACS-style reel seat, giving your baitcaster a firm, stable mount. With the Sportex Black Pearl MAXX (Casting), you get rods that deliver a strong price-to-performance ratio thanks to their well-chosen components.
