Fox Rage Pelagic Ready Rig Slick Finesse

The Slick Finesse for Pelagic and Vertical Jigging

The Fox Rage Pelagic Ready Rig Slick Finesse is a ready-rigged soft lure built for pelagic and vertical jigging. Fox Rage has taken the two largest sizes of the Slick Finesse and paired each one with the dedicated Fox Rage Slick Pelagic Head and Fox Rage Stinger Trebles. The head is shaped to match the body perfectly, giving the whole rig a clean, harmonious profile. Weight selection has been carefully considered too: the 16 cm Slick Finesse comes mounted on a 40 g head, while the 21 cm version carries a 60 g head. Combined with the streamlined body shape of the Slick Finesse, this gets the lure down deep quickly and keeps it there - exactly where big zander and pike are holding and where the takes are hard. The Slick Finesse itself is a slim soft lure with a V-tail, which gives it a subtle, understated action that will still tempt the most cautious of predators. V-tail soft lures are an essential in any vertical jigging angler's lure box and equally indispensable for pelagic work.

Stinger with Swivel and Dedicated Treble Hook

The Fox Rage Pelagic Ready Rig Slick Finesse arrives ready to fish, fully rigged with head and hooks straight out of the packet. The Fox Rage Stinger Treble is a treble hook designed specifically for use as a stinger. A double pin on the shank allows for quick and easy attachment to the soft lure body. The geometry of the hook is well thought through: one tine always sits pointing upwards while the other two angle out to each side at 90 degrees, which delivers excellent bite conversion. The hook connects to the head via 2 split rings and a swivel. This flexible connection is tried and tested and significantly reduces hook pulls - the swivel's ability to rotate around its axis makes it far harder for predators to lever the hook free. Fewer lost fish and a high hook-up rate make for productive pelagic and vertical sessions with the Fox Rage Pelagic Ready Rig Slick Finesse.
