Fox Rage Zander Pro Shad Loaded

A Classic Shad Ready to Fish Straight from the Pack

The Fox Rage Zander Pro Shad Loaded is a ready-rigged soft lure - specifically, the 2 largest sizes of the legendary Zander Pro Shad, each mounted on a shallow rig. At 16 cm and 18 cm, these classics are perfectly suited for pike as well as big zander. The combination of body roll action and an actively kicking paddle tail triggers predator after predator into attacking.

A Light Rig with the Option to Go Deeper

The Fox Rage Zander Pro Shad Loaded comes on a pre-weighted rig. The 6 g weight provides excellent balance and guarantees the right action. This makes it ideal for fishing shallow margins, over weed beds, or across generally shallow waters. That said, there are times when you need to go deeper. Simply clip a Fox Rage Strike Point Hitcher Tungsten Chin Weight to the front eye and the ZPS dives down, letting you reach predators holding in deeper water without any fuss.

Highly Effective for Pike and Zander

Soft lures on a shallow rig have long proven themselves as an outstanding method for pike, and the Fox Rage Zander Pro Shad Loaded is no exception. Beyond that, this lure is a reliable producer for big zander too - not only in deeper water with added weight, but also on the shallow rig as standard. This makes it ideal for a slow, steady retrieve at night. It's a solid alternative to plugs when zander are looking for something different.

How to Fish It

Work the shad over shallow flats, above weed and in shallower venues using the standard 6 g rig. When predators are sitting deeper, attach a Fox Rage Strike Point Hitcher Tungsten Chin Weight to the front eye to increase the running depth. For zander after dark, a slow, steady retrieve on the shallow rig works particularly well.
