On a straight retrieve it produces a classic wobble-and-roll action, and its tight, lively movement is more than enough to trigger aggressive takes. With a running depth of 0.5 to 1.0 m, it works particularly well along rip-rap and over weed beds. During the day it also pays to work it as a twitchbait. In still water it shows off a distinctive roll-and-twitch behaviour: during the pauses the Gamera Slim 128 SP hangs head-down in the water column, but the moment you twitch it gently, it kicks sideways with a rolling flash. It holds in the strike zone for longer than you'd expect, which means you can work a tight spot thoroughly - perfect for picking apart gaps in weed, narrow bays, and other confined hotspots.
