Illex Night Fall (Casting)

From Light Perch Fishing to Big Baiting for Pike

The Illex Night Fall (Casting) are the baitcasting rods of the Night Fall series, with a range of models that covers everything from versatile perch fishing through to big baiting for pike. The foundation of each rod is a high-quality Torayca High Modulus Carbon blank, which delivers impressive sensitivity at low weight along with power reserves matched precisely to the intended application. That blank is fitted with Fuji SiC rings in Polished Silver White - sharp-looking on the blank and outstanding performers, with excellent compatibility with braid. The grip is a split grip built predominantly from high-grade EVA, sitting comfortably in the hand thanks to excellent ergonomics. Each rod arrives in a padded neoprene sleeve to protect the finish during transport.

The Range

The Illex Night Fall (Casting) range comprises 4 baitcasting rods, each aimed at a different area of lure fishing for predators, but all sharing a high degree of versatility. These rods meet the demands of anglers with high standards while remaining sensibly priced, and they deliver in every respect on the water.

B 2102 M+

The Illex Night Fall B 2102 M+ is the lightest baitcasting rod in the series and excels primarily when targeting perch and largemouth bass. Its Fast action sets it apart from the other models, and that is precisely what makes it particularly versatile. However moody the perch may be, this rod lets you fish spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, twitchbaits, crankbaits and soft plastics with equal confidence - you are ready for whatever the session demands. The outstanding balance between casting accuracy, lure presentation and control during the fight makes fishing with it not just effective but genuinely enjoyable.

B 2152 M-MH

The Illex Night Fall B 2152 M-MH is built for power fishing for perch, largemouth bass, zander and pike. Its Extra Fast action delivers perfect lure control, instant responsiveness and the backbone to drive hooks home with authority. Spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, crankbaits, twitchbaits, vibration baits and soft plastics all perform at their best on this rod, letting you get the maximum out of every session.

B 2202 MH

The Illex Night Fall B 2202 MH is a versatile baitcasting rod that combines a powerful blank with genuine sensitivity. It is an excellent choice when fishing spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, jerkbaits, swimbaits and soft plastics for largemouth bass, pike or zander. Its outstanding casting accuracy puts lures exactly where you want them, and the strong backbone means you can convert bites reliably. The Extra Fast action contributes to excellent lure control throughout the retrieve. A top pick if you want to fish medium-sized lures while still enjoying a light rod in hand.

B 2402 XH

The Illex Night Fall B 2402 XH is the powerhouse of the series. This is the rod you reach for when fishing big baits for large, specimen predators such as pike and zander. Its impressive power fires lures out with authority, and even when a big fish clamps down hard, the rod sets the hook without question. Whatever the size of the fish, the reserves are there to handle it. If you are after the big fish in the water with large swimbaits, jerkbaits, soft plastics and heavy spinnerbaits, this is the rod for the job. A notable bonus is that, despite its power, it remains pleasantly light and very comfortable to fish over a long session - especially important when big baiting all day.
