Live Target Trout (Adult) Swimbait

Lifelike Looks and Realistic Action

The Live Target Trout (Adult) Swimbait is a detailed recreation of an adult rainbow trout, built around lifelike swimming action. Its tail fin - which required considerable development time - drives movement that is as close to anatomically correct as you'll find in a hard swimbait. At 16.5 cm and 71 g, it sits squarely in the feeding lane of pike and largemouth bass, though large zander have shown a clear taste for it too.

The Dorsal Fin as a Weedguard - and a Belly Eye for Extra Options

The Live Target Trout (Adult) Swimbait comes fitted with a razor-sharp wide gap hook that converts bites into fish. To keep that hook fishing cleanly through vegetation, the dorsal fin acts as a weedguard, letting you work the lure right into the spots where predators hold. A belly eye opens up further options: attach a spinner blade to add extra flash and vibration, clip on a drop weight when the fish are holding deeper than expected, or rig a treble hook for added hooking security. The retrieve could not be more straightforward - a slow to medium steady wind is all it takes to unleash the lure's wide, rolling action.

How to Fish It

Keep it simple: a slow to medium steady retrieve brings the Live Target Trout (Adult) Swimbait to life. Use the belly eye to fine-tune depth or add a spinner blade for extra attraction whenever conditions call for it.
