Live Target Trout (Parr) Swimbait

A Lifelike Young Trout Swimbait

The Live Target Trout (Parr) Swimbait is a soft swimbait modelled on a young rainbow trout, available in 2 sizes. The Canadian lure designers behind Live Target have built their reputation on true-to-life visual detail and anatomically accurate swimming action - and this one is no exception. At 10 cm and 13 cm, it sits right in the feeding lane for predators such as perch, zander and pike. Largemouth bass and other species are equally susceptible to it. A body weight is integrated into the lure to bring it down to the right depth and keep it perfectly balanced on the retrieve.

Every Detail Covered

The Live Target Trout (Parr) Swimbait comes rigged on a razor-sharp wide gap hook for a solid hook-up rate on every take. The dorsal fin doubles as a weedguard, so you can work this lure right through cover and into the spots where predators hold. A belly eye lets you attach a spinner blade for extra attraction, or a drop weight if the fish are sitting deeper than expected. The retrieve couldn't be simpler: a slow to medium steady wind is all it takes to trigger the lure's tight wobbling action. See for yourself how convincingly this swimbait moves through the water.

How to Fish It

Work the Live Target Trout (Parr) Swimbait on a slow to medium steady retrieve - that's enough to bring out the tight, lifelike wobble. When predators are holding deeper than expected, clip a drop weight to the belly eye to get the lure down into the zone. To add extra flash and vibration, attach a spinner blade to the belly eye instead.
