A Substantial Hard Lure with a Unique Edge
The Livingston Lures Jerk Master 121C is a crankbait and twitchbait measuring 12.12 cm and weighing 15.55 g - a sizeable hard lure that was originally developed for largemouth bass but works equally well for pike and zander. An internal Weight Transfer System delivers excellent balance and outstanding casting performance, allowing you to reach impressive distances. The standout feature of this hard lure, however, is the EBS Technology System - an attractant system in a class of its own.
The EBS Technology
EBS stands for Electronic Baitfish Sound. The EBS Technology gives the lure a dedicated EBS Shad Sound or EBS Perch Sound that mimics a baitfish. It activates automatically on water contact - the moment the lure touches the surface or enters the water. Fish respond particularly strongly to sound, and the EBS system allows them to detect the lure at more than 3 times the range compared to a silent lure. Even against conventional rattles, the lure is still detected at more than twice the distance.
Forward Facing Sonar Certified
The EBS Technology System also makes the Livingston Lures Jerk Master 121C Forward Facing Sonar Certified. Materials such as ceramic, brass and steel used within the EBS Technology System produce a very clear signal on the various live sonar technologies used by fish finder manufacturers. This lets you track the lure more clearly on screen and work it with greater precision. When sharpshooting with forward-facing sonar, you can target specific fish and key spots far more effectively.
Action and Additional Rattles
Beyond the Special Sound, the Livingston Lures Jerk Master 121C has plenty more going for it. Its enticing darting action produces strong flank flash for visual attraction, further enhanced by its striking colour patterns. Conventional rattles fitted inside the lure continue to produce sound even if the EBS System battery runs flat after extended use, keeping the lure effective throughout its life. Battery life is not something you need to worry about unduly - the sound only activates on water contact, so the system works very efficiently. You can extend battery life further by drying the lure after use and storing it in dry conditions.
