A Deep-Running Twitchbait with a Genuine Edge
The Livingston Lures Jerk Master 121D is a deep-diving jerkbait with a crankbait lip from the Tournament Series, measuring 12.1 cm and weighing 15.57 g, with a maximum running depth of 3.0 m. This twitchbait is a notably larger profile that works exceptionally well for pike and zander, but also catches largemouth bass very effectively - the species it was originally developed for. Inside the body sits a Weight Transfer System that keeps the hard lure well balanced while delivering excellent casting properties - precise, long-distance casts are well within reach. The real highlight, however, is the EBS Technology System, which gives this hard lure an attracting power that sets it apart.
The EBS Technology
EBS stands for Electronic Baitfish Sound. Depending on the model, this technology gives the lure either a specialist EBS Shad or EBS Perch Sound, which imitates baitfish and is activated on contact with water. Sound is one of the key triggers fish respond to, and fish detect these lures from a distance over 3 times greater than silent lures. Even compared to conventional rattles, fish react to the lure from more than double the distance. More attention, more bites.
Forward Facing Sonar Certified
The EBS Technology System brings a further advantage: the Livingston Lures Jerk Master 121D is Forward Facing Sonar Certified. The materials used in the technology - including ceramic, brass and steel - produce a noticeably clearer signal with various live sonar fish finder technologies. This lets you see the lure more clearly on screen and control its presentation with greater precision. Whether you use live sonar for sharpshoooting or simply to keep an eye on how your lure is running, this is a genuine advantage.
Darting Action and More
Beyond the Special Sound, the Livingston Lures Jerk Master 121D has more to offer. The unique body and lip design gives the hard lure a darting action that predators find irresistible. The lures also come in striking colour patterns that enhance their visual appeal. On top of the EBS system, conventional rattles provide an additional sound bonus - particularly useful once the EBS System battery runs low after extended use. That said, because the sound only activates on contact with water, the system is very efficient with battery life, so this won't be an issue for a long time. Drying the lure after each session and storing it in a dry environment will extend the battery life further still.
