Monkey Lures' First Hard Lure
The Monkey Lures Purge Glider 175 is a 17.5 cm, 73 g swimbait - and the first hard lure from Monkey Lures. A great deal of attention went into making it look and move naturally: the body shape and fins are modelled on a perch, and the calm, realistic swimming action matches that appearance perfectly. That lifelike quality is precisely what makes it effective on wary, specimen pike. At 17.5 cm it also hits a versatile all-round size for pike fishing, so you can fish it confidently whatever the size of your quarry.
A Shallow Runner You Can Also Fish Deep
The Monkey Lures Purge Glider 175 has an inherently shallow running depth, which makes it well suited to polders and drainage channels. It is equally at home on larger waters before and after the closed season, when pike are still holding very shallow. If you want to work it one level deeper, though, you can - thanks to an additional belly eye on the underside of the head. Clip on drop weights there and the floating lure becomes a sinker. This is particularly useful on big waters in summer and autumn, when pike tend to drop down a bit.
Fewer Lost Fish
Both the line eye and the hooks of the Monkey Lures Purge Glider 175 are mounted on ball-bearing swivels. This makes it significantly harder for a pike to twist the hooks free during the fight, resulting in a lower hook-loss rate.

The bait runs super realistically. Since the waters where I travel are heavily fished, I can use the Purge Glider to differ somewhat from the classic baits that pikes already know by name. You can use the hardbait super flexibly and relax across the herb fields, but if you use a small lead, you can also fish in open water (if the body of water is not too deep) I am extremely satisfied and can only recommend the bait!

Hammer bait that is easy to pass over the reel and induces pike to bite in shallow water. He's already brought me lots of good fish.

Purge Glider 175 Vato Loco
The bait is powerful when the pike is close to the surface. Not with this color so far, but this bait itself has brought me a third of my pike this year.

The bait is excellent in terms of running behavior and catchability, unfortunately I couldn't read anywhere that it was delivered without the UV hooks, slightly disappointed.
