Designed for Soft Jerking

The Dart jig hook from Musaga is a highly interesting jig head if you want to try soft jerking. The arrow-shaped lead head causes soft plastics to dart unpredictably to one side on the initial jig, imitating a baitfish fleeing in panic - predators react instinctively with a reaction bite to that kind of escape attempt. Slim-profiled soft lures such as pintails work particularly well on Dart jigs, as their narrow shape offers minimal resistance and lets them glide cleanly through the water.
