Rapala Shad Rap Elite

The Shad Rap in Its Elite Version

The Rapala Shad Rap Elite is a thoroughly revised version of the much-loved hard lure, now built around a Wire Through construction for exceptional strength and durability - even when big, hard-fighting fish are on the hook. Available in 2 sizes, both feature a premium floating balsa wood body with a lifelike profile. This crankbait works brilliantly for both trolling and casting. When cast, you can really exploit its versatility - crank it at varying speeds, work it with pauses, or even twitch it. Depending on your retrieve speed, it switches between a wide, rolling wobble and a tight, shivering action. Perch in particular respond very well to this plug, though other predators turn up as bycatch on a regular basis. For that reason, especially with the larger 7.5 cm version, you should always use a wire trace. The Rapala Shad Rap Elite is a quality hard lure that builds on the proven strengths of the popular Shad Rap range and casts particularly well.
