With 25 litres of capacity, the Urban Backpack gives you plenty of room for your lures and tackle. Beyond the sheer volume, though, it's packed with features that only reveal themselves once you start using it properly.

The integrated EVA hard case in the top section catches the eye immediately. It's sized to take your polarised sunglasses and protects them not just from the elements but from knocks and impacts too.

The front case is easy to underestimate at first glance - it features additional zips on both sides and opens up to a surprisingly generous volume. Detail number three is the main compartment zip, which runs the full length of the opening so the compartment opens completely flat, giving you unrestricted access to everything inside.

The laptop pocket in the back panel is another feature worth noting. It comfortably accommodates a 14-inch laptop and keeps it secure. The same pocket also accepts a 2-litre CamelBak hydration bladder if you prefer to carry a drink.

The standout feature of the whole pack, though, is the detachable hip belt. Unclip it and it becomes a fully functional bum bag in its own right. It attaches to the lower back panel via a strong velcro 'tunnel pocket' and sits comfortably without digging in.

Carrying comfort is taken care of by the 3D ventilation system, which supports your back at the same time. The cushioning doesn't press or dig - it moulds gently to your back so you can wear the pack for long stretches without discomfort.
