Rapala X-Rap 4 cm in Detail

Rapala's X-Rap twitchbait in 4 cm is built for perch, trout, chub and asp. This extremely slender 3D minnow is all about action: twitch it aggressively and it throws out sharp lateral 'kickbacks' on the retrieve, with the holographic inner foil firing off attention-grabbing flashes. Wind it back steadily on a tight line and it settles into its characteristic 'Wobble'n'Roll' action. You're free to choose whichever presentation you think will get the most bites from your target fish. A realistic scale pattern and an integrated lateral line complete the visual package. The built-in long-cast system puts the X-Rap out at serious distances, and when a fish does commit, the super-sharp VMC treble hooks in black nickel pin it cleanly.

How to Fish It

Work it with aggressive twitches on a tight line to trigger those sharp lateral 'kickbacks', or simply retrieve it steadily for the 'Wobble'n'Roll' action. Either way, the integrated long-cast system lets you cover water efficiently, and the VMC treble hooks in black nickel are sharp enough to convert even short takes.
