Savage Gear 4 Play Classic Lowrider

The Deeper-Running Classic in 4 Parts

The Savage Gear 4Play Classic Lowrider is one of the legendary 4Play swimbaits responsible for countless great catches. This version is the deeper-running 4-part swimbait with a diving lip, which takes it down to 1.5 m or 2.5 m depending on whether you're fishing the 13 or the 19.

A Herring Profile That Works on Any Water

The Savage Gear 4Play Classic Lowrider is built around the body shape of a herring, which also happens to mirror most of the other prey fish that pike feed on. That makes this swimbait highly effective on any water, and its extremely realistic, enticing action makes it a top choice for pike fishing wherever you cast it. The retrieve with this hard lure is straightforward - a simple, steady wind is all it takes. The deeper-running nature of this version also makes it well suited to trolling. If you want a more varied approach after casting, a Stop & Go retrieve works brilliantly too - those pauses in the retrieve are often what triggers a tentative pike into striking. It's no surprise that this versatile swimbait has become one of the legends in the Savage Gear range.
