Savage Gear 4D Line Thru Roach

Savage Gear's Line Thru Baits have earned a serious reputation among pike anglers, helping countless anglers land their personal best fish.

4D Line Thru Roach for Big Pike

The Savage Gear 4D Line Thru Roach has one purpose: catching pike. And more often than not, those are big pike. At 25 cm in length and weighing 206 or 216 g, these swimbaits carry enough bulk to get the attention of a large fish holding in deep water - a worthwhile meal that moves through the water with a convincingly lifelike action. Savage Gear created this swimbait from a 3D scan of a real roach, resulting in an exceptionally realistic imitation of one of the most important food sources for predators. Fins, body shape and gill covers are rendered with fine detail, and the high-backed profile produces a deep, rolling S-shaped swim pattern that triggers aggressive strikes.

Line Thru Concept with Modifier

The Line Thru Concept - in which a steel wire runs through the full length of the body - has proven itself many times over. The treble hook is mounted free-hanging at the widest point of the body, which delivers excellent hook-up rates and, thanks to the Line Thru design, makes it significantly harder for a pike to shake the hook. Using the optional Modifier, you can switch from the single treble hook system to a twin-treble setup - ideal when pike are biting short or tentatively.

Please note: Product photos show the lure rigged with 2 treble hooks; it is supplied with the single treble hook system.
