Savage Gear Deviator Tail SS

An Extremely Versatile Hybrid Lure

The Savage Gear Deviator Tail SS is a hybrid lure combining the hard body of the Deviator Swim with a soft tail section. That soft tail is interchangeable, and the lure comes supplied with two different options: a paddle tail and a curly tail grub. Swapping between them is quick and straightforward thanks to the Cross Jaw Lock Tail System, which at the same time provides a very firm and secure hold. On top of switching tails, you can also mount either one upside down - with the back facing downwards - to produce entirely different movement patterns and add even more to the extraordinary versatility of the Deviator Tail SS.

Different Tails, Different Action

Each tail gives the Savage Gear Deviator Tail SS its own distinct action in the water. The paddle tail generates substantial pressure and gives the lure a kicking frantic action, while the subtler curly tail grub opens up a smooth glide action. That flexibility lets you adapt on the day and match exactly what the pike are responding to.

2 Attachment Eyes for Different Running Depths

As you'd expect from such a versatile lure, the Savage Gear Deviator Tail SS gives you yet another way to tune its behaviour - specifically its running depth. There are 2 attachment eyes in the head section: the forward eye at the tip of the nose makes the lure run very shallow, while the upper eye takes it down deeper, letting you work deeper spots effectively.

Outstanding Casting Performance as a Search Bait

The Savage Gear Deviator Tail SS is fitted with a Long Cast System that delivers outstanding casting performance and exceptional distances - ideal for covering large expanses of water when searching for pike, which makes it a highly capable search bait. To back that up further, it carries integrated rattles for acoustic attraction and the soft tails are loaded with a built-in attractant. Every sense of the pike is engaged, so it won't be long before your pike rod bends over.
