Savage Gear Monster Slug

A V-Tail Shad Built for Pelagic and Vertical Fishing

The Savage Gear Monster Slug is a large V-tail shad available in 2 sizes, packed with features that make it especially well suited to vertical jigging and pelagic fishing. Built into the rear section of the body is an air chamber that makes the lure far easier to spot on a fish finder - a real advantage when fishing pelagically, as you can see exactly where your lure is and avoid sending it too deep and spooking that trophy zander or pike. An integrated glass rattle adds extra sound to draw predators in, while the colours are UV-active for maximum visual impact, and the soft plastic itself is anise-scented to appeal to the senses of any nearby fish. If you prefer a more aggressive approach, the Monster Slug also works very well twitched in shallow water on a shallow rig - pike in particular respond strongly to this style of presentation and rarely let it pass. The name says it all: the Monster Slug is designed for the real monsters lurking in your water.
