The Balzer Shirasu Street Zander-Barsch Walker System was developed by Steef Meijers and combines the advantages of many different finesse rigs into a single, highly versatile system that lets you fish very effectively for perch and zander.
Sled Weight and Heavy-Duty Fluorocarbon
The Balzer Shirasu Street Zander-Barsch Walker System is built from a single piece of fluorocarbon with a diameter of 0.90 mm, making it exceptionally strong - and relatively pike-proof should one of those predators take a liking to your soft plastic. A sled-style weight allows you to work the rig across the bottom with a relatively low risk of snagging. You can twitch it slowly, drag it along the bottom, or jig it quickly to cover water efficiently. Thanks to 2 rubber stops and a bead, you can also adjust the position of the weight - and therefore how close the lure sits to it.
2 Hook Sizes for Different Soft Plastic Lengths
The Balzer Shirasu Street Zander-Barsch Walker System is available with 2 different hook sizes. The size 1/0 hook is best suited to finesse soft plastics between 6 and 9 cm in length, while the size 3/0 hook is the right choice for soft plastics from 10 to 13 cm. Both hook sizes feature 2 barbs on the shank to keep your soft plastic securely in place.
