The Sportex Curve RS-3 Zander are the dedicated zander rods from the Curve RS Series, now in its third generation. Built specifically around the demands of zander fishing, these rods combine a particularly strong backbone - enough to drive the strike home at full casting distance - with the cushioning qualities of a Medium Fast Action blank. That combination makes them exceptionally well suited to night fishing with plugs for zander, where fish often take close in and the rod needs to absorb powerful short-range runs. You get direct feedback throughout, and outstanding casting performance delivers your lure precisely at distance while bottom contact and bites remain clearly perceptible even when fishing at range. The blank uses Japanese High Performance Carbon, which contributes a high recovery speed and ties together everything that makes the Curve RS-3 Zander a technically refined rod with a clean, sporting appearance.

The Characteristic Soft Action, Made Slightly Faster

The third generation of the Sportex Curve RS is built on an extremely light yet resilient blank of Japanese Toray High Performance Carbon. The characteristic soft action that defines this series has been retained but, in response to widespread demand, made slightly faster. To improve stability and robustness, the handle section features additional Carbon Mesh reinforcement. The slim, lightweight KL and KT SiC rings support casting performance for long, accurate casts, and smooth line flow keeps noise levels pleasantly low during the retrieve. A Seaguide D-Hook lure keeper is fitted to the blank to hold your lure securely during pauses; its thoughtful design ensures it does not interfere with direct finger contact with the blank. The modern grip configuration pairs an EVA split grip with a lightweight HVS reel seat, giving a secure fit for your fixed spool reel and excellent feel in hand. The Curve RS-3 brings together a sporting aesthetic and first-class performance for consistently rewarding sessions on the water.
