SPRO Iris Popeye 100 / 10 cm

SPRO is a name that stands for quality, innovation, and outstanding tackle - and the Iris Popeye 100 is a fine example of what the brand brings to predator fishing.

Iris Popeye 100 - Key Specs

This soft lure measures 10 cm in length and weighs 6 g. Its streamlined body tapers into a long, slender tail tipped with a paddle. At its widest point, the body stands 1.5 cm tall and 1.1 cm wide - genuinely all-round dimensions that make the SPRO Iris Popeye 100 a productive choice throughout the year.

The Eyes: A Key Trigger for Predators

The eyes are an absolute key trigger for predators. SPRO has built the entire Iris series around this principle. The large eyes feature 3D holofoil and are immediately visible, giving zander, pike and perch a clear focal point to lock onto. They sit protected in a recessed socket, so neither water pressure during the retrieve nor the stress of playing a fish can dislodge them.

The Iris Popeye's Action in the Water

The small paddle is angled slightly rearward, which causes the lure to roll smoothly from side to side. As it does, the eyes bob and nod in a way that predators find almost hypnotic. Even during vertical movements, this soft plastic picks up its action instantly - making it well suited to boat fishing and vertical jigging alike.
