Strike Pro The Pig Shad Junior 8" (20 cm)

Predators, the Roast Is Served!

The Pig Shad Junior from Strike Pro in 20 cm is the little brother of the original 'Pig Shad' - and it gives nothing away to its larger sibling. What defines the Pig Shad is its exceptionally fish-catching action: a pronounced rolling movement combined with a distinctive head-nodding makes this lure a serious tool when you're targeting big pike. The key detail here is that the slower you retrieve, the more intense that rolling and head-nodding becomes. A huge paddle tail backs up the whole performance, generating extra pressure underwater.

You can work this lure in all sorts of ways - it tracks cleanly at any speed. That said, an ultra-slow retrieve is where it really comes into its own. When the lure starts to roll and kick its head at the lowest possible speed, no pike holds out for long. Add short pauses into your retrieve and things get truly filthy - that's how you put big fish on the bank. The Pig Shad comes in a huge range of colours, so you'll have the right option for any situation and any water. The range now covers five sizes: 15 cm, 18 cm, 20 cm, 23 cm and 26 cm.
