Stroft^® GTP Typ S - The S-Class Among Braids

This yellow-green braid stands clearly ahead of other lines made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE). It sets itself apart with an exceptionally smooth surface - and the 'S' for smooth in its name is thoroughly earned. That smoothness is achieved without any coating or sleeve, purely through a multi-strand weave process at significantly increased braid angles. At the same time, this yellow-green line delivers very high abrasion resistance combined with very high breaking strain.

The exceptionally smooth surface lets the line glide cleanly through your rod rings, delivering a decisive gain in casting distance and greater control during the fight. The high abrasion resistance also makes this braid well suited to snag-heavy waters and rocky stretches.

Good material, proud prices The string really has a very smooth surface, load capacity and knot strength even exceed the stated values. A small drawback for me, however, is that the string for an 8-fold braided line is not just braided round. It looks more like flattened. The hefty price is therefore subject to a small point deduction. Overall, however, a line that I like to fish.
