Westin TwinTeez V2 V-Tail

The TwinTeez V2 V-Tail: A Revised Take on a Proven Soft Lure

The Westin TwinTeez V2 V-Tail is the revised version of Westin's popular V-tail soft lure. The most striking changes are visual: a new, highly natural appearance sets it apart from its predecessor. The slim, V-shaped taper of the head delivers a particularly fast sink rate, getting the lure down to depth quickly. Gill details combined with oversized eyes add a level of realism, and those eyes also serve as a prominent target point that draws strikes from predators.

Responds to the Lightest Twitch When Vertical Jigging, Pelagic Fishing, and Drop Shotting

The Westin TwinTeez V2 V-Tail retains its highly active V-tail, which responds to the smallest input. It takes very little to set it moving, and those subtle vibrations - clearly perceptible to fish - give it exceptional fish-catching ability. At 14.5 cm, it is a spot-on size for zander when vertical jigging, though pike and even large perch will take it just as readily. That same profile also makes it an interesting option for pelagic fishing when open-water predators are targeting smaller prey. Perch, on the other hand, will often respond best to a drop shot rig presentation. When drop shotting, it is worth adding a stinger to improve bite conversion.

More Options Thanks to the Belly Slit

The Westin TwinTeez V2 V-Tail is fitted with a belly slit, making it a good match for large offset hooks. This opens up a range of additional presentations - whether fished weightless or on a belly-weighted offset hook as a soft jerk, or on various finesse rigs. Try it in different set-ups and see what works best at your local water.
