BANKS Pin

A Pintail Shad with a Distinctive Tail Design

The BANKS Pin is a compact pintail shad with a rather distinctive tail design. Banks describes it as a leaf-shaped club form, which is a pretty accurate way to put it. That shape picks up the vibrations from a bladed jig perfectly and maximises its fish-attracting action. That was the original purpose - as a trailer for Banks bladed jigs - but it would be a shame to limit it to that single role.

Great on Finesse Rigs, as a Soft Jerk, on Dart Jig Heads and Classic on a Jig Head

The BANKS Pin is the kind of soft plastic that perch anglers love, simply because it is so versatile. There are very few perch fishing methods it cannot handle. It works brilliantly on a classic jig head, but also as a soft jerk bait - either weightless or fitted with a belly weight. It is equally at home on a range of finesse rigs such as drop shot, Carolina and free rig, where you can present it with real finesse and consistently tempt perch. A particular highlight is the dart jig head. Thanks to the Pin's angular head shape, it sits perfectly on most dart jig heads and delivers a superb darting action that perch simply cannot ignore. With the BANKS Pin in your soft lure box, you have one option that covers a wide range of perch fishing methods and techniques.
