Thanks to a redesigned blank - a Fast Taper 36 T Carbon Blank with nanotechnology - the Abu Garcia Beast Pro2 (Casting) delivers an improved action alongside even more power and responsiveness, all while weighing almost 20% less than the previous series. Lighter in hand, stronger on the fish.

Fuji Quality and a Sharp Look

The component spec matches the blank. Fuji quality runs throughout, starting with Fuji K Alconite rings featuring stainless steel frames and an anti-tangle design. The split grip is shaped from high-quality A-Grade cork and fitted with a Fuji ACS reel seat - a solid platform for baitcasters and multiplier reels when you're locked into a hard-running pike.

The Rod Models

The two shorter models in the Abu Garcia Beast Pro2 (Casting) range are designed specifically for jerkbait fishing. At just 1.98 m, paired with an Extra Fast action, they give you the sharp, precise input that hard lures need to perform at their best. The longer models from 2.21 m upwards are built as all-rounders - capable of handling swimbaits, spinnerbaits, plugs, large soft lures and big baits across the board. Among those, the heavier models suit lures that are simply wound back in, while the lighter models also handle jigging and more active retrieves well. Excellent rod! After the third throw, the first pike was hanging! Workmanship is great! The only drawback is that on the product images it looks as if it is divided into two equal parts. Unfortunately, it has a handle, which makes transportation without a car difficult. I am still very satisfied

Basically, the Beast Pro2 is exactly the product I have chosen and it meets my requirements. I expected a two-piece rod - unfortunately, after unpacking, I was disappointed that the handle was split, which is a bit unfavorable for me for transport When I unpacked the rod, I was very disappointed because I was too distracted by the photo when ordering - without studying the fine print very carefully Certainly a mistake on my part, but compared to other models, you can already see the division from the photo. I would ask H&B to adjust something here I thought for a long time whether to send the rod back because of this, but decided against it. Let's see if I can get used to it
