Deps Minibros 3/8 TW / 10.5 gr (Tandem Willow)

A Small Spinnerbait for Small and Large Predators

The Deps Minibros 3/8 TW is a compact spinnerbait weighing 10.5 g. The 'TW' in the name stands for Tandem Willow - meaning it runs two blades: the upper blade is willow-shaped, while the lower one is a Colorado blade. Together, they give the lure a high level of attraction that draws strikes from predators of all sizes - including some serious fish you won't always be expecting. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the Deps Minibros 3/8 TW is a relatively subtle lure that performs particularly well on hard-fished waters where predators are cautious. That's no coincidence: it was developed specifically for heavily pressured Japanese lakes.

The Details That Make the Deps Minibros Stand Out

Deps has a well-earned reputation for lures that are thought through to the finest detail - nothing is left to chance, and everything is tested extensively. The result is a range of lures that make the difference on difficult days. The Deps Minibros 3/8 TW is no exception. The head, the arm, and the blade positioning all received particular attention. The head features a structured shape with a subtle wave design along the top surface, which generates vertical vibrations as you retrieve the lure - vibrations that also positively influence the pulsing action of the fine silicone skirt. The head's tapered profile also allows it to push through aquatic vegetation and other underwater obstructions with ease. The silicone skirt flows around an extremely sharp yet highly robust size 3/0 hook, chosen to match the proportions of the spinnerbait while being strong enough to handle large fish through the fight. A baitholder on the hook shank lets you secure a soft plastic trailer - ideal for small shads, curly tail grubs, or other soft plastics. Spinnerbaits are generally known for a relatively high miss rate, but this has been addressed here too. The length and angle of the arm relative to the head improve hook-up rate by pushing the hook point slightly upward on the strike, giving it a better chance to find purchase. The blade positioning on the upper half of the arm is a further refinement: it delivers maximum vibration and rotation at a level comparable to larger spinnerbait models. All of these details make the Deps Minibros 3/8 TW a particularly strong choice for perch, largemouth bass, and pike.
