Deps Deathadder 4'' (10.2 cm)

Shad with Stabilising Fin and Teardrop Tail

The Deps Deathadder Shad 4" is a 10.2 cm soft plastic with a slender, elongated body and a stabilising anal fin. Its highly lively action kicks in even at the slowest retrieve, making it a genuinely versatile option. Whether you're fishing it on a jig head, finesse rigs such as a Carolina rig or Jika rig, or as a trailer on spinnerbaits and skirted jig heads, it produces fish. It works particularly well for largemouth bass and perch, but also pike, zander, and sea bass in salt water. The action itself can be described as a subtle rolling motion combined with a high-frequency tail action. The stabilising fin prevents excessive rolling while simultaneously making the shad react to even the smallest changes and eddies in the current. The pronounced, nervous tail action is down to the teardrop-shaped tail, which responds to the lightest pull. The Deps Deathadder Shad 4" is a highly versatile soft plastic made from a soft yet durable rubber compound with a salt content of 20 % and crawfish attractant - a combination that predators find hard to ignore. If you're after a slim shad with plenty of action, this one ticks every box.
