Fox Rage Replicant Swim

The Replicant as a Hard-Body Swimbait

The Fox Rage Replicant Swim is a 4-section swimbait that brings together the hooking performance of a hard-body swimbait with the profile of the legendary Replicant. It is the first hard-body Replicant and, like its soft counterparts, a class act for pike. At 18 cm, it covers both specimen pike and the regular stamp of fish you encounter most days - which promises plenty of action on the water.

From Shallow to Deep, from Linear to Stop & Go

Thanks to its 4 body segments, the Fox Rage Replicant Swim produces a particularly natural action. A straight, linear retrieve is all you need to get it working - even at that pace, it delivers a seductive S-shape swimming action. Work it with a Stop & Go retrieve or sharp twitches and it breaks away to the side and glides, which is practically irresistible to pike - especially when they are following and the lure suddenly kicks sideways, triggering a savage take. Out of the box, the Replicant Swim is a top choice for shallow waters and shallow sections, as it runs at a relatively shallow depth. Pair it with an additional weight such as the Fox Rage Strike Point Hitcher Chin Weight in tungsten, however, and it runs noticeably deeper, making it highly effective in deeper sections as well.

Robust Build, VMC Hooks & a Spare Tail

Fox Rage has not cut corners with the Replicant Swim - it comes with a very robust construction that can take the punishment dished out by even the hardest-fighting pike. To keep fish connected, the swimbait is fitted with ultra-sharp VMC treble hooks, which deliver a high hook-up rate and a low loss rate - more fish hooked, fewer lost. The tail section features a soft fin that is replaceable, and Fox Rage includes a spare tail in the box as standard. If you own several Fox Rage Replicant Swim lures, you can also swap tails between them. The Chart and Perch colourways stand out in particular, with their yellow and red tail fins respectively, offering additional colour options that work with the other colourways too. Whether you fish them straight out of the packaging or mix and match the tails, the Fox Rage Replicant Swim are highly effective swimbaits with an excellent price-to-performance ratio. Worth adding a few to the tackle box.
