Gunki Boomer - Chatterbaits That Cover Water Fast
Chatterbaits have become a firm favourite among lure anglers, and it's easy to see why: you can fish them at virtually any depth, let them sink to the bottom or retrieve them steadily, and they'll tempt a wide range of species. Their ability to search large areas quickly is one reason tournament anglers such as Johannes Dietel, Frédéric Jullian, Enrico Di Ventura and Daniel Andriani reach for them so often.
The Gunki BOOMER takes its body shape from amphibians, which are widespread in European waters. The large, bold 'signal eye' acts as a natural focal point for attacking fish. The blade in front of the head is slightly smaller than on many other chatterbaits - a deliberate choice, because a more subtle action often outfishes a heavier vibration on many venues. For a trailer, rig it just as you would on a jig head: the KØFI Ukelei in 11 cm and the Finesse Filet in 11 cm are two excellent options. Both are no-action soft plastics that flutter beautifully behind the chatterbait, and they've put a lot of good fish on the bank for Daniel in the Predator Tour and WPC.
