Gunki Scunner 175 S Twin 17.5 cm / 93 g

Two-Piece Swimbait with Interchangeable Elastomer Tail

The Gunki Scunner 175 S Twin is the larger sibling of the Scunner 135 S Twin. Those extra 4 cm in length bring an additional 40 g of weight, and the result is a substantial two-piece swimbait that offers a real mouthful - even for big pike. The body is compact yet voluminous, with no diving lip. The tail is made from elastomer and can be swapped out when needed; just make sure you store it separately from other soft plastics. Another standout feature is the hook arrangement, and in particular the belly treble hook. While the rear treble sits on a fixed eye, the belly treble is mounted on a swivel recessed into the body, allowing it to rotate freely on its axis - which significantly reduces fish loss during the fight.

Variable Running Depth with a Weight Eye

The Gunki Scunner 175 S Twin draws fish in with its wide, rolling S-action - a retrieve style it maintains even at the slowest speeds. In its standard configuration it runs relatively shallow, making it well suited to shallow margins, over weed beds, and smaller waters. For those times when you need to fish deeper, the lure is fitted with an eye beneath the head where clip-on weights - such as Illex John-Weights - can be attached to adjust the sink rate, which is slow-sinking as standard.
