Svartzonker McTail The Original (94 g / Slow Sink)

A Hybrid Lure with a Unique Action

The Svartzonker McTail The Original is a slowly sinking, 94 g hybrid lure built around a hard lure body combined with a soft lure tail. That combination produces a unique action - one that blends darting, gliding, belly rolling, tail rippling and side-to-side movement depending on how you work it. The retrieve is straightforward: a steady wind, stop & go, short twitches or long pulls. Pick the style that suits you and you'll draw pike into attacking confidently. This lure has accounted for countless specimen pike and played its part in competition victories.

Interchangeable Tail for Different Colour Combinations and Actions

The Svartzonker McTail The Original comes with a Curl-Tail fitted as standard, and the stainless steel screw at the hard lure end lets you swap it out quickly and easily. That means different colour combinations are straightforward to achieve. You can also pair the body with a Paddle Tail, which gives the lure a more pronounced rolling action.

Robust Construction for Big Pike

The Svartzonker McTail The Original is built for big pike, and the hardware reflects that. A stainless steel wire construction runs through the body, and all fittings are rated for serious use. Heavy Duty stainless steel split rings at 8 mm and razor-sharp VMC treble hooks in size 2/0 will hold up through even the hardest fights.
