Musaga Musaga Stand Up Jig Hook 3/0 - 3 Pack

Musaga jig heads have earned a strong following among anglers, and it's easy to see why. The ultrasharpe JDM hooks are made by Sasame in Japan and cast into finished jig heads here in Europe to the highest standards.

Ultra-Sharp Stand-Up Jig Hooks by Musaga

The hooks are manufactured in Japan by Sasame, one of the most respected names in the industry. Drawing on decades of experience, Sasame developed a specialist alloy that allows them to produce hooks that are both comparatively thin and extremely strong. The metal is highly flexible, which prevents the hook from bending open or breaking. That same alloy also ensures the point stays durably sharp - gripping instantly even after many sessions and catches.

Please note: Japanese hooks follow a different sizing scale to European hooks. Sasame hooks are generally slightly smaller than their European equivalents - a JDM size 4/0, for example, corresponds to a European size 3/0.

The Stand-Up Jig Head Design

Musaga spent considerable time developing the shape of this jig head. The goal was a stand-up design that combined classic stand-up characteristics with the distinctive swimming action of an Erie jig. The Musaga Stand Up brings both together in a single head.

The machined plate keeps the jig resting on the bottom with a subtle rocking motion, presenting your soft plastic naturally. A few quick turns of the handle and the jig head shoots steeply upwards with the lure - making it ideal for imitating, for example, a fleeing soft crab.
