Rapala Skitter V 10 cm

Plucking Predators off the Surface

A classic stickbait with thousands of fish to its name across both fresh and saltwater, the Rapala Skitter V looks straightforward at first glance - but look closer and you'll spot its V-shaped belly, which cuts through the water like a boat keel. That's what sets it apart and makes it a genuine fish-catcher among surface lures. Work it fast and aggressively and you get an erratic, darting action; slow it right down and it glides smoothly from side to side, drawing savage strikes. The 3D eyes and striking colour designs leave nothing to chance and produce in almost any situation. The Skitter V is a surface lure that runs from the very first turn of the handle, making it easy to fish and immediately effective for perch, asp and pike. Saltwater predators take just as enthusiastically, and it's well capable of producing truly memorable sessions.

How to Fish It

Twitch it quickly and aggressively for an erratic, snappy retrieve, or slow things right down to let it glide from side to side - both approaches draw hard takes. It's on the fish from the first turn of the reel handle, so there's no awkward start-up period to worry about.
