The Rapala X-Light Minnow is a compact hard lure for ultralight fishing, measuring just 5 cm and weighing only 4 g. Its improved weight distribution makes it exceptionally easy to cast on an ultralight rod, letting you place it accurately at distance. In the water, it produces a lively kicking minnow action even at slow retrieve speeds - yet the L-shaped lip keeps it tracking with remarkable stability. This makes it well suited to fast retrieves and strong currents, exactly the kind of conditions you find in streams and rivers. It's a reliable choice for trout and chub, and well worth trying for asp and perch too.
