SPRO Iris Ambush Spinnerbait 39 g

Spinnerbait with a Bold Eye and Interchangeable Blades

At 39 g and 18 cm, the SPRO Iris Ambush Spinnerbait is built squarely for pike. The frame is a very stiff wire construction, with a 28 g jig head sitting at the lower end in front of a size 5/0 Gamakatsu hook. Mounted on that jig head is the signature Iris eye - a focal point that pike lock onto easily, remaining clearly visible even in coloured water. The spinner blade rotates on the upper arm of the frame and lets you work even heavily weeded water without the rig collecting weed. Via a quick-change swivel you can swap between a Colorado blade and a Willow blade, both of which are included in the box.

This Lure Fishes Where Others Won't

The SPRO Iris Ambush Spinnerbait 39 g was designed specifically for fishing in densely weeded water. Where a plug's diving lip or treble hooks pick up weed and force you to stop fishing, this spinnerbait keeps going. The wide wire frame and the arc of the spinning blade keep weed away from the ultra-sharp hook point. The blades also push out strong pressure waves that pike can detect from a considerable distance.
