VMC Utility Jig

A Specialist Jig Head with a Built-In Rattle

The VMC Utility Jig is a skirted jig available in a range of weights and colours. It comes fitted with a Premium VMC Round Bend hook, protected by a colour-matched weedguard made from 20 robust nylon fibres. This makes it equally at home in heavily weeded spots. You can trim the nylon fibres back as needed until you find the right balance between weed resistance and bite conversion. Thanks to its specialist head shape, the Utility Jig is well suited to flipping and pitching tight to structure. The 60° line tie positions your soft plastic trailer upright, presenting a defensive posture to any predator that follows it in. A further feature of this skirted jig is the integrated rattle strip, which adds a fine acoustic signal on every retrieve. The durable silicone skirt, made up of 50 individual strands, pulses with every movement to draw predators in for a take. The VMC Utility Jig earns its place in any tackle box.
